BOSTON, January 14, 2011 - Considered America's most Irish city, Boston offers visitors a packed schedule of entertainment, food and drink during the 4-day St. Patrick's Weekend and offers an experience unrivalled anywhere outside of Ireland.

During St. Patrick's Weekend and throughout the month of March, Boston becomes the stage for live music, comedy and sports. The weekend offers live music performances ranging from Irish and South African folk music to classical and jazz performances. Boston boasts of 100+ Irish pubs within walking distance of hotels and easily accessible by public transit, so there is no need for a car the entire weekend.

Visitors can walk the Irish Heritage Trail, a 2.5 mile trail of 20 landmarks that mark the Irish experience in Boston (http://www.irishheritagetrail.com/). Free maps for self-guided tours are available at the Visitor Information Centers on Boston Common and at The Shops at Prudential Center, Center Court.

The weekend also includes the second week of the Restaurant Week Boston, March 13-18, with dining deals all over town, and marks the start of spring with the March 16-20, 2011 Boston Flower & Garden Show at Seaport World Trade Center.
