SAINT PATRICK'S DAY IN BOSTON
BOSTON, MA (March 11, 2014) - Boston is prepared for another spectacular Saint Patrick's Day. There are a variety of Saint Patrick's Day events going on in the Greater Boston region, from the famous Saint Patrick's Day parade in South Boston, to concerts, dance performances and special Saint Patrick's Day menus. Boston has something for everyone to enjoy! The Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau (GBCVB) has compiled a list of events throughout the region.
Saint Patrick's Day Highlights:
- Dropkick Murphys House of Blues March 13-16
After a year-long world tour, Boston's own Dropkick Murphys return home for a string of St. Patrick's Day concerts at House of Blues on Lansdowne Street. Details
- St. Patrick's Day Celtic Sojourn Hanover Theatre March 14-16
9th annual Celtic Sojourn concert, presented by WGBH radio host Brian O'Donovan, returns with another all-star cast of musicians, singers and dancers. Details
- The Greene-O'Leary School of Irish Dancing JFK Library March 15, 10:30 - 11:30AM
Ages 5 and up. Free, but reservations are required. Join the dancers of the Greene O'Leary School as they showcase traditional and contemporary styles of Irish Dance. Details
- St. Paddy's Bash Howl at the Moon March 15, 12:00PM

- Erin Go Beehive The Beehive March 17, 5:00PM - 1:00AM
The Beehive will present its 7th annual St. Patrick's Day festivities in partnership with the Boston Irish Tourism Association (BITA). St. Patrick's Day at The Beehive includes an evening of authentic entertainment including a live performance from Boston-based Katie McD, Irish-inspired drinks, à la carte food specials from Executive Chef Marc Orfaly . Saint Patrick's Day Parade Information:
The Parade will take place March 16, 2014 at 1:00PM EST in South Boston. The Parade route starts on West Broadway (easterly), left onto East Broadway, right onto "P" Street, right onto "East 4th" Street, right onto "East 5th" Street, left onto "G" Street, right onto "Southerly Arm of Thomas Park," left onto "Telegraph" Street, left onto Dorchester Street, and ending at "Dorchester Avenue."For a map of the parade route visit southbostonparade.org
