MBTA: Located 15 miles southwest of Boston, Dedham can be accessed through the Franklin Line Commuter Rail from Boston’s South Station with stops at Endicott and Dedham Corporate Center.

The town of Dedham was incorporated in 1636 and is home to many historical attractions such as the Fairbanks House, the oldest surviving timber-frame house in America scientifically dated to 1637. Dedham also holds the first man-made canal in North America, Mother Brook, which was created in 1639 to link the Charles River to the Neponset River. In 1921, Dedham’s Norfolk County Courthouse held the historic and infamous Sacco and Vanzetti trial. This city is home to Pete Hamilton, famous NASCAR driver, as well as one-armed baseball player Howard Robinson “Lefty” Mills.  Busy Dedham attracts many with their vast restaurant selection and long list of historical attractions.
