New England Revolution
One of Major League Soccer’s Original Clubs
The New England Revolution are one of Major League Soccer’s original clubs, having competed in the League’s inaugural season of 1996. The Revolution are owned and operated by the Kraft Family, which also owns and operates the New England Patriots of the National Football League.
Championship Titles
Commonly known as the Revs, the club has won the Eastern Conference Championship five times – including three straight from 2005 to 2007 – while advancing to the Eastern Conference Championship an MLS-record six straight years from 2002 until 2007. The Revolution, who won the 2007 U.S. Open Cup and the 2008 SuperLiga titles, are based in Foxborough, Massachusetts, and play their home games at Gillette Stadium.
