Due to the US government shutdown, some Boston attractions may be closed, while others may have modified availability.

Here's what we know:

JFK Library

The JFK Library's website is displaying an announcement toward the top of their website that reads: "Due to the shutdown of the federal government, the JFK Library, a National Archives facility, is closed." Be sure to visit jfklibrary.org for further updates.

USS Constitution

Signage in the shipyard indicates that the USS Constitution is closed.  The USS Constitution Museum is currently open and operating with their usual hours.

Bunker Hill Monument

The inside of the monument and the Visitor Center are currently closed.  Visitors can still walk the park grounds and take photos. Check for updates on the National Park Service website.

Faneuil Hall

The National Park Service Visitor Center and the Great Hall on the second floor are currently closed.  The Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts Museum, located on the fourth floor, is also closed. Visitors can still enjoy shopping at Faneuil Hall Marketplace, and enjoy food and beverages at Quincy Market.

Freedom Trail

The Freedom Trail Foundation's website details that official historic sites will be open with the exception of Bunker Hill Monument and USS Constitution.  Foundation-led official Freedom Trail Tours will continue to step off daily. Get information on other Freedom Trail tour operators on Meet Boston's Freedom Trail page.
