Boston (December 13, 2023) – Meet Boston has announced the launch of a new podcast: “Boston Found.” Hosted by Meet Boston President and CEO Martha J. Sheridan, the series will focus on topics of interest to Boston and the tourism industry as a whole and is available at www.meetboston.com/podcast/, as well as on all major podcast platforms.
The first episode dropped on December 6 with General (Ret.) James McConville and Commander Billie Farrell discussing the Army-Navy Game. On December 13 the second segment was released featuring Shawn P. Ford, Executive Director of the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum, discussing the 250th anniversary commemoration of the Boston Tea Party taking place on December 16. Other upcoming topics include State of the Tourism Industry, Boston Nightlife, the Future of Travel, AI in the Travel Space, The Legacy of Phillis Wheatley, and the New Boston Culinary Scene with a variety of special guests and future guest hosts.
This new podcast gives an inside look at everything that is happening in Greater Boston, with eclectic topics like food, attractions, sustainability, outdoors activities, hotels, the arts, openings, events, sports, and more information about what makes Boston tick, as well as discussions about the tourism industry as a whole, current travel trends, and the power of travel to connect cultures and break down barriers. The podcast will also serve as a guide to travelers from both the U.S. and abroad as they plan trips to Boston and want to understand how the city continues to pioneer and drive conversations that determine the future. Guests will include business leaders, chefs, hoteliers, tour guides, journalists, sports figures, historians, musicians, artists, Meet Boston staff, and more.

New episodes will drop biweekly on Wednesdays and 26 episodes are expected over the course of the year. Information on season two, launching In December 2024, will be made public next fall.
