Headed to Fenway Park for a ballgame or concert? The bars, breweries and restaurants in the area will not disappoint!

Kenmore Classics:

The fun begins in Kenmore Square, in the shadow of the Citgo sign, as you approach the historic ballpark. If you are coming in from the Back Bay, you will find The Kenmore on your left – try the wings or the burger and be sure to sample some of the great craft brews on tap. Further into the square, step into Cornwall’s Tavern for a British pub experience just steps from “America's Most Beloved Ballpark”.

Leading off on Lansdowne:

As you bear left on Brookline Ave, you’ll see and feel the festive atmosphere of a Fenway game day. The next intersection at the iconic corner of Lansdowne Street will be abuzz with fans, where the Cask ‘N Flagon, a true Boston staple, invites you to come grab a beer and bite prior to first pitch. Across the street is Game On, another great pre-game option — especially for families. As you stroll further down Lansdowne many other options emerge, including Bleacher Bar with its fantastic views of the field. And at the end of Lansdowne, it's hard to resist the energy emanating from Loretta’s Last Call.

Craft Beer & Breweries:

Next to Loretta’s is Cheeky Monkey Brewing Company, one of many breweries in the neighborhood. Greater Boston has become a haven for craft beer and many of these breweries have footprints in the Fenway area, including Cisco Brewers Beer Garden off of Jersey Street and Mighty Squirrel Taproom & Kitchen near the Lansdowne Commuter Rail station. Further down Brookline Ave is the reimagined 401 Park complex, which features Trillium Fenway as well as Time Out Market – both are noteworthy options for pre or post-game fun.

Neighborhood Haunts:

Beyond the bars and breweries, the Fenway neighborhood offers an array of interesting cocktail bars and restaurants, such as Equal Measure and Eastern Standard located near Mighty Squirrel. And on Boylston don’t miss the delicious offerings at MIDA and Sweet Cheeks, operated by two of Boston’s most distinguished chefs, as well as Fool’s Errand, an intimate cocktail bar located just next to Sweet Cheeks. Further down Boylston, oysters at Eventide and sushi at Hojoko are also excellent options, while Citizen Public House and Yard House offer extensive craft beer menus.
