Cambridgeport
Hugged by the Charles River to the south, this residential community is a vibrant community full of families, children-strewn parks, and the occasional grade school or academic research building. Commerce ranges from vintage electronics repair (sounds cool, right?) to a soul food shack that our current mayor loves to frequent, Alive and Kicking Lobsters (well, alive for a little bit) and Black Sheep Market--be sure to try the Sea Salt bagel. And if you're still hungry for more, here's a fun fact. In the late 1800s the first Fig Newton cookie was manufactured right here at the F. A. Kennedy Steam Bakery.
