GREATER BOSTON CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU LAUNCHES NEW MOBILE VISITOR INFORMATION CENTER
On Wednesday, October 19 the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau (GBCVB) unveiled TheBOS, a new Mobile Visitor Information Center, on the Rose Kennedy Greenway. TheBOS will expand the GBCVB’s presence throughout Boston and beyond and feature many of the same resources as the Boston Common Visitor Center located on Tremont Street at the start of the Freedom Trail. TheBOS takes the visitor center concept and puts it on wheels, bringing visitor services to major events, fun festivals, and neighborhood happenings throughout the metropolitan area.
At the unveiling the GBCVB leadership team and its Chairman Dan Donahue was joined by the Chief of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion, City of Boston, Segun Idowu; Executive Director of The Rose F. Kennedy Greenway Conservancy Chris Cook; MA Office of Travel and Tourism (MOTT) Executive Director Keiko Matsudo Orrall; and Representative Aaron Michlewitz.
