Distraction + Democracy Beer Garden, Downtown

Downtown's Distraction Brewing Company and Roslindale's Democracy Brewing Company have joined forces to offer the public a fantastic beer garden located in Downtown Boston's historic City Hall Plaza. The D+D Beer Garden offers fresh air, local brews, and stunning city views making it the perfect pitstop, or distraction, after exploring Quincy Marketplace or walking the freedom trail. They also offer live music and entertainment, art classes, showcases and more throughout the season.

Outdoors @ Harpoon, South Boston

306 Northern Avenue, Boston
Now open for the season, 7 days a week

Located at the front entrance of the popular Harpoon Beer Hall location in the Seaport, Outdoors @ Harpoon is now open for the season through early Fall. Visitors can enjoy Harpoon’s cold draft beer while playing Cornhole, Ring Toss and more. All food and beverage options available in the Beer Hall can also be enjoyed in their outdoor space – with food truck pop-ups and additional programming.

 

Samuel Adams Boston Taproom Rooftop

60 State Street, Boston

Located in the heart of Downtown Boston, and steps away from the iconic Samuel Adams Statue, the Samuel Adams Taproom offers 20 draft lines, including almost a dozen exclusive brews, making it the perfect place to enjoy a cold one with friends, family or coworkers. Stop by after shopping at Faneuil Hall or walking the Freedom Trail.

 

Anchor Navy Yard, Charlestown

Located in Boston’s iconic and historic Charlestown neighborhood, the Anchor Navy Yard is Boston’s only multi-story public gathering space. Complete with a curated collection of local and international beer as well as a large selection of wines, sangria and even bubbly – there is something for everyone.  

Not interested in beer and wine? Don’t worry, there is espresso, coffee, tea and even freshly squeezed lemonade available. The Anchor welcomes patrons of all ages, and even furry friends in their dog friendly spaces, and features over 300 programs and events such as trivia nights, salsa dancing, wellness events, paint parties and so much more.

 

Lord Hobo, Seaport

With 52 outdoor tables, and seating for over 380 people, this brewery and restaurant's new outdoor space is the place to be this season. Choose from over a dozen rotating Lord Hobo beer options as well as taps from other local breweries. Not really a ‘beer person’? There are also craft cocktail options, such as the ‘Boss Man’ (their play on a classic Negroni). 

 

Trillium Beer Garden, Rose Kennedy Greenway

The first pop-up beer garden in Boston’s history is now open for the 2024 season at the Rose Kennedy Greenway. This Trillium Brewery pop-up is family and dog friendly and features both their beloved draft beer and hard seltzers. Bring your own food or enjoy their seasonal rotation of local food trucks!

 

Trillium Fenway Beer Garden at Time Out Market, Fenway

This modern outdoor patio and indoor seating area is the perfect place to connect with coworkers or visit with family and friends on the weekend. With a great neighbor relationship with Time Out Market, patrons also have a variety of food options during their visit. Trillium, Fort Point

Trillium's three-story building features a taproom and full-service restaurant in Boston's Fort Point neighborhood. Grab some friends and soak up some sunshine on their spacious patio or take in stunning city views from the recently reopened seasonal roof deck.

 

Cisco Brewery, Seaport

Nantucket’s famous ‘Cisco Brewery’ has surely made its impact in Boston’s Seaport district. Serving beer, wine, and craft cocktails, this is the place to be during summer in Boston. Along with island favorites, this Cisco location also has great food options including lobster rolls, tacos, poke bowls, along with live music, workout classes, and lots and lots of dogs.

One Reason Garden Bar, Cambridge

The Charles Hotel's new One Reason Garden Bar offers a summery escape right in the heart of Cambridge. Enjoy local beers, natural wines, and frozen cocktails alongside Mexican favorites from Taqueria El Barrio. The Garden bar also offers lawn games and live music on weekends.

 

Aeronaut Brewing Beer Garden, Allston

Aeronaut's seasonal Beer Garden will return to Zone 3 in Allston from Thursday, May 9, 2024, to September 14. This summertime beer garden brings together both beer and music lovers. Featuring Aeronaut’s craft beer and hard seltzer, this is a great location for your next date night or night out with friends. Check out their seasonal line-up including hip hop, funky blues, country and more. And did we mention food trucks?

 

Night Shift Beer Garden​, Esplanade 

Between Berkeley & Clarendon Streets along the Storrow Lagoon

Located at one of the most instagrammable locations in Boston, and one of the best walking paths, is the Night Shift Beer Garden. Brought to us by local brewery, Night Shift, the beer garden is the best place to grab a drink after work with friends or on the weekends while strolling through the city. They also have food trucks on site daily!

This ‘industrial tiki vibe’ garden is complete with rotating tropical drinks, aged craft cocktails, and even boozy popsicles. IL Patio Di Eataly, Back Bay

Savor the essence of Italy under the summer sky this season at IL Patio Di Eataly! Located on Boylston Plaza, this open-air haven transforms into a charming European-style piazza come summertime, perfect for gathering with friends and family. Indulge in authentic Italian cuisine and wines all season long on their comfortable patio.

 

Dockside Beer Garden, Central Wharf

Soak up the waterfront views while enjoying a craft beer (Cisco or Kona) and some classic barbecue at Dockside. This outdoor public beer garden located next to the Aquarium offers a delicious selection of meals to pair with your drink of choice including ribs, pulled pork and chicken, burgers, and a variety of salads and sides. Take the kids to the Aquarium then grab a cold one and kick back and enjoy the view!
